Welcome to Norfolk Broads Holidays

The chosen retreat of Her Majesty must surely be a place worth visiting – and Norfolk certainly is.
And though you’re not likely to be staying in a setting quite on a par with the Queen’s magnificent Sandringham Estate, there’s no shortage of places to take in the fun of the seaside or the gentle appeal of the countryside all in one holiday.
Head for the coast and you may well be drawn to Great Yarmouth. A pleasure beach packed with rides and games, two piers, one of the largest marketplaces in England, a greyhound stadium and an award-winning museum of maritime heritage combine to make this the top choice of many holidaymakers.
At the opposite end of the county sits Hunstanton, a place where coast meets country – a seaside resort with a rare charm that combines buckets and spades with a relaxing countryside ambience perfectly.
Inland there is just as much to see and enjoy, not least of all the miles and miles of waterways known as the Norfolk Broads. Whether you choose to take some time out in a stationary house boat or explore the Broads yourself in a cabin cruiser, it’s the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life.
From April to September the village of Thursford offers much to see, from the world’s largest collection of steam engines and organs to fairground carousels and a play area for children of all ages.
Places like Somerleyton Estate further affirm the regal charm of Norfolk, with spacious and attractive wooden lodges overlooking Fritton Lake as an alternative to traditional bed-and-breakfasts.
